At Asantys Systems, we believe that successful projects are not only about delivering solutions but also about the logistics that bring those solutions to life. So we are pleased to share a behind-the-scenes look at the logistics operations behind the „ASER300“ project, a major initiative by the Agence Sénégalaise d’Electrification Rurale (ASER) in collaboration with GAUFF GmbH & Co. Engineering KG. A project that aims to bring reliable and renewable energy to hundreds of communities in rural Senegal.

Efficient coordination and teamwork

Logistics plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of large-scale renewable energy projects, especially in remote locations like many areas in Senegal. The ASER300 project, which focuses on deploying solar mini-grids across rural areas, requires extensive coordination and collaboration between numerous teams.

In this project, we worked closely with our partners, including GAUFF GmbH & Co. Engineering KG, local civil workers, transporters, and installation teams, all of whom are crucial to the project’s success. Our logistics operations ensure the timely and efficient delivery of all necessary components for the mini-grids, from the Balance of Systems (BOS) parts to the solar panels and storage units.

The role of our logistics team

As a key player in the logistics management of the ASER300 project, the Asantys Systems logistics team in Germany has been integral in coordinating the transport, assembly, and installation of the equipment. We work with trusted local suppliers to ensure that all materials are sourced and delivered in line with the project’s needs, optimizing resources and minimizing delays.

We also collaborate with experienced transporters and installation partners to ensure that every component reaches its destination safely and is installed correctly. This team effort ensures that we can meet the expectations of the project owners and, most importantly, the energy needs of the communities that will benefit from this project.
