We are honored to share that a photograph captured by our Managing Director, Nicolas Rohrer, has won the „Powering Industries“ category of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) photo contest 2024, titled “Impact of Team Europe’s Efforts in DRE”. This image encapsulates the transformative power of renewable energy, showcasing one of our solar installations in Mali—a project that brings sustainability and reliability to critical infrastructure.

The winning photo, taken in 2023, highlights solar panels powering a water storage plant in Bamako, Mali. This 300 kWp solar installation, which we supplied, ensures a steady and sustainable energy supply to the water infrastructure, enabling the city of Bamako to access a reliable source of clean drinking water.

This milestone project was completed in collaboration with SOMAPEP SA (Société Malienne de Patrimoine de l’Eau Potable) and exemplifies the immense potential of renewable energy to address real-world challenges. By powering essential services such as water treatment plants with clean solar energy, we’re not just contributing to sustainable development but also enhancing the quality of life for communities.

The recognition by ARE underscores the importance of such projects and the role renewable energy plays in shaping a brighter future for industries and people alike. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our work on such an international platform.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) for this recognition and congratulate all the other winners of the contest for their inspiring contributions to sustainable energy.
