Manel Naceur
Mrs Naceur received a scholarship from the State of Tunisia after finishing her secondary education. She graduated in electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany. Afterwards, engineer Mrs Naceur was responsible for the technical direction of the business sector „off-grid solar systems” at the company solar23 GmbH. Furthermore she was working in the technical customer support. Due to her language skills she served not only African but also customers from the Far and Middle East.
Nicolas Rohrer
Mr Rohrer studied international business relations and law at the University of Freiburg, HU Berlin and Paris XII. After graduating he was working as consultant for exports for the German Solar Industry Association before exchanging to the private industry. Mr Rohrer was working as Sales Director Africa for four years, being responsible for building up a distributor network in Africa. When he resigned in July 2009 he had established dealers in thirty African countries.
Thomas Angerer
Mr Angerer, as licensed electro technician, was working in the solar business for many years. Among others he was working for the companies Phaesun GmbH and solar23 GmbH as project manager. He was responsible for the planning, projecting, installation and commissioning of on- and off-grid solar systems in Germany as well as abroad.
Johannes Germ
Mr Germ concentrated on intercultural communication and developing theories during his studies of Sociology, Politics and Africa Studies. He carried out an empirical study for the GTZ-IS in Ethiopia as a stipendiary of the University of Hamburg. After graduating he was working as journalist before he was changing to the solar business. Mr. Germ was working as Area Sales Manager East Africa before he resigned in June 2009 and founded the company Asanyts Systems GmbH in August 2009. |
